The company participates in the “Collaborative Formation of Innovation in the Internet of Things (IoT) Pleiades”, the purpose of which is the strategic and operational cooperation between agencies, Municipalities and Regions, organizations, universities, startups and companies active in Greece but also in the rest of Europe. One of its primary goals is the adaptation of Greek Industry, Greek cities, the energy market, etc. in the digital age, by designing, developing and promoting the implementation of new sectoral digital processes, tools and modern digital technological solutions, in a manner harmonized with similar best practices applied in EU member countries.
Our company in the framework of the project entitled “Pleione: Pleiades Internet of Everything” implements a vertical solution for Smart and Green Museums. The solution is a joint effort in collaboration with the companies MOBICS S.A., C2H E.P.E. Unisystems M.A.E. and Peripatos I.K.E.
The objectives of the solution are to compare and analyze International and European standards of holistic assessment of the sustainable built environment (e.g. WELL, LEED, BREEAM, etc.) and to formulate a methodology for their application to the particularities of existing cultural spaces . In addition to develop all the necessary tools (integrated as a platform) for the monitoring and intelligent (self-)management of an infrastructure in terms of energy and indoor environment quality (microclimate). Finally, to design and offer advanced infrastructure management procedures (facility management operations), implemented as software tools, which will interoperate with the basic subsystem and implement the proposed methodology.
At a technical level the platform is implemented with open IoT technologies (e.g. LoRa networks and sensors), and includes a BMS (Building Management Systems) subsystem compatible with such technologies, a business intelligence system, and applications for mobile devices. The platform interoperates with the central infrastructure of PLEIADES based on the open FI-WARE framework.
